Instructors hand out Case Study and X-pand balance forms to students at their repeat class.  Students submit their six case studies to their instructor for evaluation. When the Instructor is satisfied that the student has a good grasp of the concepts and procedures of Brain Gym, they sign that item on the student Record card, record it in their own files and send a record of case study completion to Faculty- Glenys.

(The purpose is for the student to have developed good procedural, balancing and people skills by the time they qualify. This should be completed before attending the Practicum.  Students need to keep a log of hours spent and submit this along with full records of balances given.)

Satisfactory completion of these requirements qualifies you to be an Educational Kinesiology Consultant registered with the Educational Kinesiology Network of NZ (BGNZ) Inc., affiliated to Brain Gym International/ Educational Kinesiology Foundation.  (Faculty may require a student to repeat some part of the training, or to do additional work if they are not satisfied that adequate understanding of Edu-K principles, procedures or concepts have been demonstrated by the student.

• receive your Registered Educational Kinesiologist certificate
• call yourself an Educational Kinesiology Consultant
• create your business card
• use the Brain Gym logo and trademark
• advertise for clients/students
• charge for your skills
• register with the NZ Charter of Health Practitioners under Edu-K (if you choose to)
• give short talks about Edu-K (but not teach Brain Gym courses)

It requires you to:

• sign the Consultant/Instructor Licence agreement
•  represent Edu-K and Brain Gym in accordance with the policies, practice and principles of the Edu-K  Network of NZ Inc. and of Brain Gym International/ Educational Kinesiology Foundation.

• Teach a qualifying Introduction to Brain Gym class (6-8 hrs)
• Teach qualifying Brain Gym 101 class (4 days or equivalent, at least 4 students
• Submit a class list (name, address, phone, email), timetable for your class,      and a self-evaluation of your teaching to Faculty .

Satisfactory completion of these requirements entitles you to teach Brain Gym® to whoever you like and to construct short courses for varied contexts, such as schools, business, sports, preschool groups, disability groups etc.
